Ground Penetrating Radar Systems has been working with Fluor Enterprises at the Newmont TS power plant in Beowawe, Nevada. After the completion of the power plant there was uncertainty about the depth of the fire protection system around the facility. Ground Penetrating Radar Systems was able to quickly scan the locations to verify that the fire protection system was below the frost line while the areas that didn't meet the required code could easily be marked and filled with dirt at a later date.

Ground Penetrating Radar is ideal for precise location of rebar & post-tension cables prior to saw cutting and/or core drilling, mapping of electrical conduits, detection of sub-surface voids and utilities, and detection of underground storage tanks.
